If you know which one is bad, then share. I don't have time to check others

The reason I went over Citi, Chase, and United Mileage to combine them so I can buy $1150 camera All I got is $800 cash from other visa so far except $600 value from United Mileage that I couldn't do anything. I guess I will have to sell the pts to someone.

So far Citi and Chase are great.

Use Citi for amazon suck: 52600 = $420 while you can buy Home Depot or Best Buy gift cards = $525

chase sapphire is the best for cash in any ways.

United Mileage : 15000= $100 what a rip off. The only way to get the best out of it ticket for international. Domestic is suck too.

Anyway, before you cash out, look for any options to maximize the cash

Anh Alash oi, làm ơn lâu lâu chi tiền ra để còn help the economy nữa chứ. Sao mà anh milk the system dữ vậy nè

Cho cachua hoi cái nay. Cachua có chase points and want to use that to fly to Bora Mora/Morea( anh có cousin lives in this island phai khong?). Có thử transfer to Air France, mà Sao cái fuel serve charge cua nó toi $450 per person lận? Có thể tranfer qua airline nào khác mà khong phai trả serve charge Cao khong vay anh?

Hôm truoc anh có nói cach make payments in advance to meet up the spending requirements in the short time frame. Anh list ra lai dùm voi. Càchua searched cái thread dó cua anh mà khong thây. So far càchua chỉ make advance payment for my son school thoi, ngoai ra cant think of anything else.

Oh boy, I will collect all the info and post here to remember.

Let say 10,000 = $100 is perfect to convert or transfer 1:1 without Fee, more is better, but do not swap more than 10k pts for $100. For united mileage, either transfer in/out still have a fee and not 1:1 except Chase Sapphire that can be free and 1:1. I think any chase visa would be free unless from other companies.

Forgot which one that can transfer to FlyingBlue, I will check again later. Checked united, didn't see FlyingBlue so I guess íts Citi Card Visa, which I went over both last weekend.

Any other ways: Collect Miles -> mean you get your gift card such as Home Depot, then convert to mileage, but you want to look for 1:1 ratio. Yeah forget United Mileage again, it will rip you off. So what you do is buy gift card from another visa then convert it to mileage What I do is I buy gift card to max. out the cash then convert it to something else These are good deal: Lowes, Home Depot, GAP, Macys.....etc.

If you have Chase Sapphire, you should be able to buy ticket with AF. Need to log in your chase account, then click on Redeem pts. to check it out.

Tahiti, Papeete: No matter where you buy ticket, air from Tahiti to Bora Bora is always $400 roundtrip. If you don't mind another $400 each, then go. Everything is cost more on Bora Bora island. Ferry takes around a day which íts cheaper. I don't recommend to go Bora Bora instead of Moorea. Why? 1/4 of Moorea island is pretty much the same as Bora Bora. Since you don't swim everywhere on island LAX to Tahiti is 8 hrs. If you plan to go to Tahiti and Moorea, I will give you exactly where to go and stay on both islands. Ferry from Tahihi to Moorea takes 20 mins. I think it cost $20 each. My cousins bought for us so it's cheaper for local people.

Pay in advance: let say you have Comcast internet bill for a month such as $50/month, you can pay $600 for 12 months or more if you want. Then Comcast will deduce until zero. I did the same with Liberty Mutual Insurance, my mortgage pays home insurance at the deadline, so I take advantage of deadline, pay $3k a head like 10 days, then the mortgage does the same amount at deadline. The insurance doesn't want to get hassle refund with visa company so they will issue a $3k check back to me It will work with any companies like ATT, Electricity, etc. However, it doesn't work for gov agencies and I don't think school will work this way. You may get return check for exchange correct amount because they don't allow to keep extra cash which may relate to tax that they have to pay on the extra cash they keep

I am not here waiting to loan money tor them any time while they keep wasting money.

30K = $300 + $450 fee = $750 : trời mẹ ơi, rẻ quá chừng mà còn đòi cái quái gì nữa For Tahihi April to Aug $1500 to $1800. Sept to March $900. Other airlines already add service charge so you don't see that. Even you buy a with cash, the combine service charge would be around $900 to Tahiti. That's why the cost is 30k + fee which it's normal. If you expect $300 for Tahiti, everyone would go there instead of Hawaii.

I cancelled my Chase Sapphire so I cant log in to find out info for you, but for sure Chase Sapphire will go 1:1 ratio to anỵ and without a Fee too. Log in your account, go to Redeem to find out other options.

" Best route to fly from Seattle to Tahiti using Chase points?? " 30K + $450 pretty cheap so far But need another tic from Seattle to LAX, remember you need at least 2-3 hrs or more, tại gi chạy từ domestic to international ná thở I don't think I have time for this weekend since already plan to work on the house because of Fri off. I will log in all of my accounts to find out later and post in here to keep for the future.

Lol, if we can get away with not paying fee then why not doing that right? Bộ anh tưởng chỉ có mình anh muốn save $$ thôi hả , cachua cũng muốn bay chùa vậy khi nào anh find out transfer chase points qua airline nào good nhất, chỉ cachua voi. We are trying to full this off not until next summer, so you have plenty of time to figure it out

Qua đó o three nights thoi, còn lai o Moorea. When you have time, please list places where to stay in Moorea. Beach front nếu anh biet.

Brainiacs: as I mentioned above, you have to look for another way to transfer pts if they don't do 1:1 ration and Fee involve. Buy 10k = $100 home depot gift card, then do a Collect Miles for gift card Make sure $100 gift card = 10k miles back to other account and no fee. I think Home Depot and Lowes very popular. Chưa đi Bahamas, nên hong biết, and I may never go East, will focus in Pacific Island since I am in West Coast.

càchua: here are about Tahiti, ask more if you need.

There is Viet restaurant but don't expect or any kind of soups

Dónt miss this one, pretty good. Do not order ice coffee since French people don't know how to drink that so order café or café sua nóng with a cup of ice

Black beach with some 1/2 naked around

Moorea: choose this or Bora Bora, no reason to go both since they 're pretty much the same. I plan to go back Tahiti for couple times

btw, market in Tahiti has everything: mì gói, mì lon, nước tương, nước mắm . If you get hotel with kitchen then you can cook anything you want, food is cheap in Tahiti and Moorea but not Bora Bora. You don't need Pork, Chicken, and Beef here since íts too expensive. Mahi mahi fishes cheap, and other kind of fishes.

There is a road lead to broke ass area people and you can't get near the Sofitel bungalows

Hilton Hotel

Pretty nice up here, can see everything around.

Crossing the street in Tahiti: not that bad. You don't see a lot of street lights but as long as you stand next to the streets, all cars will stop and wait until you completely cross. Taxi or bus is fine since there is only main street, bus is great to go anywhere. City is small, I stayed at Tahiti Nui Hotel so I could walk around city. I would say the city is smaller than Seattle downtown

You can travel the whole island with bus or car rental. Car rental is around $200/day and the car is small 4 people and 1 luggage Hot and humid, nên đem đồ mỏng để khỏi khiêng vali cho nhiều

Car rental mostly stick shift, only few automatic

Hinh biển núi đẹp quá anh Alash oi. Thanks for posting anh. Nếu khong dùng points for the upcoming trips to cancun and Costa Rica là duoc roi.

Don't know why hubby said there is no Bungalows in Moorea. He needs to do his homework

Cachua có mượn tiền anh đâu mà cứ than nghèo.

Will mention your name to get discount hahhaha

One thing was funny in Moorea, went to eat around 1 PM, consider as late lunch, vào tơ"i nơi hong thấ bóng ma nào, đi ra tới sau thấy 2 vợ chồng đang ngũ, kêu họ vậy nấu ăn but they re friendly, asked us where we came from...bla bla ........Not bad for $18-$25 a dish. You can order food at hotel restaurant if you don't have car to drive around.

Tưởng đâu vẩn em út chưa chồng đi theo để mình escort, ai nhè nói ut kia, ai mà them đi Nhìn him chắc hong muốn xuống tắm

Hint: When you go vacation is the best time to earn pts If you spend $8K, apply 2 visa to get more pts instead of using other visa that you already have because $8k is around 8K pts.

Chase Sapphire Reserve: 100k pts, $450 annual fee, spend $4k on purchase in 3 months. Because not annual fee waiver, so spend then pay off after come back vacation, transfer your pts out, then call to cancel at the end of the month.
