This is the first time I make banh bo hap. I don't know what I did wrong for I've follow everyone of the steps on the recipe but it's not fluffy and oily like the one posted by VF NinhKieu? Please help.

Test to see if the yeast still alive. Proof the yeast with warm water (105 degree F) and some sugar, leave in a warm place for 5 - 10 minutes. If the yeast appeared foamy then you can use it, if not then buy a new package.
