Review of Day 1 - Group A :
- as the host nation, Poland played as well as it could . Both teams were down one player due to red card when the game ended . Poland was kind of lucky as Greece missed a penalty shot .... Score 1-1 - Russia looked unbeatable ( or Czech looked very bad ) as it opened the tournament with a big win . Two goals in each half made the games interesting ( if you are a Russia's fan ).... Score : Russia 4 - Czech 1 Tomorrow Saturday feature match : Portugal vs. Germany at 2:45 pm EST .... |

Review of Day 2 - Group B :
Both games featured two attacking offense-mind teams , but the results were different . Netherlands had sooooo many chances as they were playing mostly on Denmark side of the field all day . But they were unlucky as Denmark scored early and sat back to play defense the rest of the game . Final score Denmark 1 - Netherlands 0 ... This is the tournament first upset game ... as Denmark has not beaten Netherlands in 20 years ... until today Germany has the ball twice as much as Portugal especially in the first half , but could not do anything until 20 minutes remaining . The world most famous player , Ronaldo of Portugal was a non factor as Germany finally scored in the 72nd minutes . The rest of the game after that was boring . Final score 1-0 in favor of the German .... Sunday 6/10 feature game Italy vs Spain @ noon EST ... What a day in sport as G has been watching all day - 12pm : soccer Netherlands vs Denmark - 3pm : soccer Germany vs Portugal - 5pm : baseball Washington vs Boston - 6pm : horse racing : the Belmont Stake And finally tonight will watch basketball Boston vs Miami @ 8:30 pm |
